Hardy Bucks

Hardy Bucks is a tv series, it was a youtube channel show that made it to tv. It's based in Ireland and made by local people. It was a huge hit with everyone and won StoryLand which was RTÉ's drama competition. Winning this gained them funding to make more episodes and make a tv series, which started last night. Hardy bucks is a comedy drama which follows the lives of Eddie and Buzz who live in the fictitious town of Castletown. The pair get into all sorts of trouble and mayhem as they attempt to earn a living in the recession, which leads to hilarious outcomes. Buzz and Eddie have a rival in the town called "The Viper" and his crew. It is one of the funniest shows around for sure. A lot of the comedy is based around irish stereotypes, not so much the conventional everyone is drunk and ginger, but more to do with slang and daily activities (which does include getting drunk a lot). People not from Ireland mightn't get this comedy but for those that do they will be laughing through every episode.
